What are the Dealer Certified Used units?
Equipment with a Dealer Certified Used (DCU) certification has been inspected by our team of experts and satisfies our criteria to be qualified as high-performance and thus guaranteeing our customers that the unit is in good working order.
Not all machines are eligible for the DCU certification. Specifically, the units must be under 10 years old and have been used for less than 6,000 hours (BCP machines) or 10,000 hours (GCI machines, asphalt pavers, mining excavators, and forestry machinery). These criteria guarantee that you acquire the latest functions and technologies to ensure the best results when working.
First, to receive this certification, units must meet the criteria of the inspection control points. Effectively, to be DCU-certified, the units must not show any signs of deterioration, overuse, leaks, or many other types of damage.
Then, to guarantee the equipment complies with high quality standards, all our DCU machines are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. In this way, you will benefit from a Caterpillar warranty.
